Mr.Ding Shubai

He is a Chinese communist, geophysicist, a petroleum remote sensing geologist, the professorate senior engineer, doctorial tutor, the senior expert of the group. Mr. Ding is awarded the government special allowance of the State Department, He was the vice director of China Petroleum Exploration Development Science Research Institute, and now is the director of experts office, China Petroleum Exploration Development Science Research Institute.
 
Mr. Ding participated the battle for Liaohe Oilfield in June 1970, and was responsible for the earthquake exploration. Mr. Ding has been worked as the director of Explaining Unit of the Earthquake Team. He tested and expanded the spread of new technology of the multiple covering of the earthquake exploration, and greatly improved the quality of the earthquake exploration. In 1975, Mr. Ding was assigned to the Ministry of Petroleum to participate the introduction of the earthquake data processing system from American, and developed new earthquake data processing technology based upon absorbing the foreign new technology. It improved the level of local earthquake data processing. In 1980, he participated the introduction of satellite remote sensing technique from America by China Ministry of Petroleum, and expanded the application in the exploration, development, and engineering construction on the ground of oil etc. He won 2 times the 3rd prize of national level technique improvement and numbers of ministry level achievement prizes. In 1995, Mr. Ding was assigned to be the vice director of China Petroleum Exploration Development Science Research Institute and responsible for the research and production of the engineering. He is also responsible for research and development of the drilling and production devices and petrochemical etc. The project of top-drive drilling device achieved significant benefit on both economy and society.
 
Mr. Ding has been working on research and development of exploration, development, engineering technique of the petroleum for more than 40 years, and published 20 thesis, 2 monographs, and trained 8 masters, 8 doctors, and 4 post doctors.
