The Quintana Group in Houston, Texas is one of four major family companies of petroleum in America. The Group does investment by holding controlling interests in petroleum, natural gas, shale gas, coal and electrical power industry. Through over $1 billion capital commitment, the Quintana Group chooses from the opportunities and does investment across the upstream, service, and downstream of the energy industry chain. The Quintana Group is base on and developed from Quintana Petroleum Corporation which is established by Mr. Korin during 1930s- the pioneer of Texas petroleum industry, and Robertson's family could be traced back four generations in the petroleum industry. Mr. Ivans, the former Secretary of the United States Department of Commerce, is now one of two primary shareholders of Quintana.
