The Quintana Group, located in Houston, Texas, is one of four major family companies of petroleum in America. The Group does investment by holding controlling interests in petroleum, natural gas, shale gas, coal and electrical power industry. Through over $1 billion capital commitment, the Quintana Group does investment across the upstream, service, and downstream of the energy industry chain. The scale of the equity investment ranges from tens of millions to hundreds of millions US dollar. At present, the completed investment has been over $500 million already.
Due to its glorious history record, the Quintana Group has been widely recognized in petroleum industry and capital market. The group is now under Mr. Robertson's leading directly. The Quintana Group is base on and developed from Quintana Petroleum Corporation which is established by Mr. Korin during 1930s - the pioneer of Texas petroleum industry, and the footprints of his family could be traced back for four generations in the petroleum industry. Nowadays, Mr. Robertson, the grandson of Mr. Korin, is one of two primary shareholders of Quintana.
